Savoring Hatteras.

ONE. WEEK.

That's all. That's how long we have until our beach trip. 
This is the first time Dyllon & I have been on a REAL vacation since we've been together. 

Though i'm incredibly blessed to have gone on the vacations we've gone on, from Cherokee to Pigeon Forge.
We've always found time to leave town together for at least a couple of days during the year.

But this time is different.

My mindset has drastically changed.
I'm learning to appreciate life for what it is. 

I don't have these outlandish expectations. I live in the moment (capturing it with my camera of course)
But i'm not worried about anything.

I've been thinking all of the moments I want to savor while we're there. 

So i've created a bucket list.

1. Have Jacob take photos of Dyllon & I. A real photoshoot. For the first time since we got married. 
2. Exercise. Run on the beach. Pilates on the sun deck. Keep my health up while i'm there. Vacation or not.
3. Explore. All the places. 
4. Visit the TIP of Hatteras Island. 



5. Go kayaking. At least twice.
6. Eat something i've never had before at a restaurant i've never been to.
7. Climb Hatteras lighthouse. 
8. Photograph everything, so I can post it here. 
9. Read a book while i'm there. To keep my mind calm.
10. Make time for morning devotions. We're right on the sound, with views of the sunrise, I have no excuse for peace. (and a cup of coffee)
11. Have NO shame, wearing my swimsuit. Wear it just like any other item of clothing.
12. Though we have money, only spend it on things that mean something. 
13. Wear makeup only one day, at the most, let my skin breathe, along with my spirit. 

and finally.

14. Take it all in.Don't forget a single moment. Take it all in and write it all down.


Hopefully I can accomplish this.
